29-22=7, 22-16=6, 16-13=3,... and noticed that the differences formed the beginning of the series. Therefore, ?-29 must be 9 (the number after 7) and ? must be 38.
The others saw that 2+4=6, 4+3=7, 3+6=9...each pair adds to the second term following the pair.
